Privacy Policy

What we collect

The titles, dates, and notification settings of your days are stored only in a local SQLite database on your device and are never sent to a server. There is no account, so we never ask for your name or email.

Launch statistics and updates

When the app launches, it sends anonymous launch statistics to Expo's EAS Insights: a random installation ID created on install, the app version, and your OS name and version. That's all. When the app checks for updates, EAS Update receives the same installation ID and the app's version details. Your days are never included, and none of this is used for ads or tracking. Your IP address may reach Expo's servers as part of these requests.

Third parties

Day uses no advertising networks, crash reporters, or any service that can see your days. The launch statistics and update checks above are handled by Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) under the Expo Privacy Policy (expo.dev/privacy).

Lunar calendar

Lunar dates are calculated on your device from public data by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (data.go.kr) that ships with the app. No internet connection is used to look up dates.

Notifications

If you turn on a day-of or day-before notification, iOS schedules it on your device. No remote push servers are involved. Notification permission is requested only when you turn one on.

Widgets

Widgets draw numbers the app saved on your device. The titles and numbers shown in widgets never leave your device either.

Data export

Export your data as JSON or CSV anytime from Settings → Export data. You send the file wherever you choose through the iOS share sheet.

Data deletion

Uninstall the app to erase all records on your device. No copy is kept on any server.

Children

Day is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will appear here with a new date.
