Having a problem or a question about Korean Word Chain?

The word is in the dictionary. Why is it rejected?
When a word is rejected, the reason appears in one line above the input box. The usual causes are these five. Words that are not nouns (adverbs, interjections, determiners, forms not used on their own, and verbs or adjectives ending in 다) cannot be used. Finishing words cannot be used when the rule forbids them. The initial sound rule works in one direction only. A word already used in this game cannot be used again. And the word data in the app is as of June 2019, so words added to the dictionary later may be missing.
It says the word is a finishing word
A finishing word ends in a syllable the next player has no word for (for example 기쁨). The reason line also shows which syllable has no word. When you start a game you can choose Never, Not first, or Allowed under Finishing words. The computer is filtered to avoid names of people and places and rude words as far as possible, so some syllables are dead ends for it.
How does the initial sound rule work?
When the last syllable starts with ㄹ or ㄴ and the rule applies (력, 녀, 락 and so on), you may start with either the original or the changed form (역, 여, 낙), and the screen shows both. The reverse is not accepted (ending in 역 and starting with 력). Syllables the rule does not cover, such as 렁, do not change.
Are proper nouns and spaced phrases accepted?
Noun, pronoun, numeral and bound-noun headwords are accepted, and you may also use technical terms and names of people and places that are headwords. Some phrases the dictionary writes with spaces, such as 고속도로, are accepted in joined form. A word must be Hangul and two syllables or longer.
I want to use a word that is not in the dictionary data (My words)
When you see "Not in this dictionary data", tap Add to my words right below it. The word is accepted on that turn and in later games. You can also add or remove words in My words on the home screen, up to 2,000. The computer never uses these words. A game in which you used one is left out of the longest game in your record.
We want to accept a missing word in a group game
In pass and play, Everyone accepts also appears below the reason line. The word is accepted for that game only and is not added to My words.
Where does the word data come from?
It is processed from the headwords of the Standard Korean Language Dictionary of the National Institute of Korean Language (stdict.korean.go.kr), under CC BY-SA 2.0 KR. The source and the changes are listed under Word data in Settings, where you can also save the word list as a text file. This app is not made by a government agency and does not represent any government agency.
