Privacy Policy

Birth details and names

The name, birth date and time, gender and birthplace you enter are calculated and stored on your device only. They are never sent to a server and never used for ads. The solar term and lunar calendar tables the app needs are bundled in the app, so calculation does not use the internet.

What stays on your device

Saved charts (up to 50), your calculation settings, and whether you opened a reading are stored on device. This data is excluded from Android auto backup, so it is not copied to other devices or the cloud. When you create an image card, it is held in the app cache until you save or share it.

Accounts

There are no accounts. We do not collect your email or phone number, and there is no sign-in, sign-up or in-app purchase.

Advertising

This app is supported by ads. Google AdMob serves them, and in the process your advertising ID (AAID), IP address, device information, and ad-related app activity (such as how many ads you saw and whether you tapped one) are collected by and shared with Google. Your IP address can be used to estimate coarse location at the country level. The names and birth details you enter are never used for ads and are never transmitted. When ads appear

The chart itself (the eight characters, Five Elements and Ten Gods) has no ads. You watch one ad the first time you open a chart's reading and luck cycles, and when you save or share a chart as an image, and we tell you before it starts. A small banner sits at the bottom of the start screen.

Opting out of personalized ads

In Android Settings → Privacy → Ads you can delete your advertising ID or turn off personalization. Ads will still appear, but they will not be personalized.

Permissions

Only internet access, used to fetch ads. We do not request camera, contacts, location, or microphone permissions. Birthplace is picked from a list; the app does not read your device location.

Third parties

Apart from Google AdMob we use no analytics or crash reporting, and no external service can see the charts you enter.

Children

Saju Calendar is not directed at children under 13. The app does not send what you enter anywhere, but when ads are shown Google AdMob collects an advertising ID, IP address, and device information. That is why this app is not built for children.

Deleting your data

You can delete saved charts one by one in the app, and uninstalling removes all of them. No copy remains on any server. You can delete your advertising ID yourself in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.

There is nothing for us to delete

This app has no server holding your data. Saved charts disappear when you delete them or uninstall, and your advertising ID is held by Google, so we can neither look it up nor delete it. Rather than offer to delete data on your behalf, we have written down above how to remove it yourself. Questions: dev@indieway.xyz
